Colorful Mallard
I love the bright colors on the male Mallards. Their heads just seem to shimmer in the light.

Love the colors of the Mallard Ducks.
Me too. This one is green but we have a lot of Blue headed mallards at the pond and I haven’t been able to find anything out about them. Lots of speculation but no really definitive answer. I’ll have to get a picture of a blue headed one to share.
